T___T it tempts me to buy like almost everything from there!!! TAT and the worst part is.... the shipping kills you. YES IT DOES!! the same goes for shipping those PVC figurines from Japan to singapore... oh yea, i recently ot hooked up on collecting figurines. (if you've seen my fb recently, you'll know alright. xD) i like to give them "photoshoots"... yes lol i know i'm lame. and the imitation snow miku nendoroid(not the original!) i bought most recently cost me $30. .__. i know it looks little, but to a person who has too many money-leeching hobbies. it's very precious indeed. But oh wells i guess i couldn't regret picking her off the shelf. i fell in love with her at first sight. even though she was a fake, she was so pretty~~~~~ =w=

Tests are piling up real fast.... (omg 听写 in week 9! D8) and so are graded assignments. i'm currently thinking of my math portfolio design. and i need to start research for history. and i have 3 chinese newspaer article reviews and a chinese compo to do. oh plus arabic n test on monday. .____. i wanna die!!! D8 *suicides*

i found a way in which i can improve my chinese!!! by playing the ~~yaoi~~ game LAMENTO. the art is just awesome. and hot guys with cat ears are enough to make you make your nose bleed. the story is about a Ribika(human with cat features) called Konoe. He lost his parents, and is living alone. One day he got cursed. And so begins his adventre. =w= the world he lives in is a world in a dire situation. There's famine and an unknown void that's taking over everything you touch. thus many Ribika are dying. Oftenly, Ribika-s will be sacrificed. IT'S A VERY SAD STORY! TAT
why, of all things, would this yaoi game improve my chinese? the original game is in Japanese but yuan le sent me the chinese version of it. since the story is very long indeed.(you'll only get to the cursed part in around 2 hours.) it is VERY VERY VERY text-heavy, there's super loads of chinese words. at first it took me 5 mins to understand a page of 4 sentences. .___. but now it only takes me 3mins. =w= 1 hour into the game and i've already started tearing. I BLAME THE SAD MUSIC! OAO and as the story progresses, you'll understand the world of Ribika-s more. like how there's a Touga and Sanga.

炉心融解 - MELTDOWN

Within a span of a month, so many things changed. I learnt to love photograhpy, and well of course i read a lot more touching (BL) mangas and movies. =w= As the June holidays gets nearer and nearer, the more deadlines i have to meet. In June there are loads of characters i wanna cos. .____. Oh yea update on my (cosplay) plans:
Starfest - Hyper Tsuna in Suit
Streetfest - APH Liechtenstein
Cosfest - Amulet Spade
For starfest i'll be going with miaw, yuan le and two other primary school friends. =w= For Streetfest i'll be going with miaw, yuan le and faith! For cosfest, well only with miaw at the moment. =w= i really should stop making more plans.... >___> *slaps self*

I really really really want a DSLR, and my dad said tht he'll be getting one during june. i told him to use my bank $$ to pay for it, but i think he'll not use it, so err yea i need to find a way to pay him back. (a job? xD) The model i'm looking at is the Sony a230 or a330. i originally wanted the a330 cause it has live view and tiltable screen, but the a230 is cheaper..... oh and i'll most probably be getting a potrait lens too. i want to create art. not just photos. and my photography buddy shall be Jolene!!!! =w= We agreed, promised, sweared to go out together to various places in Singapore to improve our skills and develop our own style. xD *is excited* Urgh i really hope that i would be able to get it soon! T^T

FAILURE, WAS WHAT I TASTED.

this will be a rather emotional post, so dont expect any gay-ness from me now. People told me that it was impossible to rush out a full costume in 4 days. I tried to challenge it, and they were right. it is impossible. i have not had this many meltfdowns in a short peroid of 3 days. Wednesday wasnt so bad. but making the tie was very time consuming and fruastrating. i managed to complete it though. personally, it was the best looking thing i ever sewn for this costume.

Thursday
morning was used for my beret. it ended up crappy and shitty. meltdown. i spent the whole day on the pleated skirt. the sewing machine kept jamming, the cloth was gathering at where i did not want it to. meltdown. even hours and hours of trying, i just couldnt get it to look right. in the night, i realiaed that i had not cute enough cloth to make more fols to make the skirt look better. Another meltdown.

Friday
i tried to redo my entire pleated skirt. i took me till evening to get it done. at the end, it still looks horrible. meltdown. after dinner i went to buy a pair of black shoes as the boot covers i made looked horrible when worn. in the night, i did 3 three thing at once. to sew my vest, make my headphones and paint my shoe purple.
4 a.m.:
As i sat in the living living room using the sewing machine, i think about wherther i should continue, or to just give up. To continue or not to continue, i was stuck. on the verge of getting suicidal i decided to stop. and so i stopped everything. i couldnt take it anymore.

Now, i'm cleaning up the aftermath of the 4 previous days which i have attempted to rush out the costume. Sick, tired and depressed, i cant help but to cry while cleaning up. My heart aches as i look at the half-complete items that were stewn all over the floor. in a matter of minutes, the cloth on my lap has been drenched wet. i threw scraps in the bin, whispering "sorry". i have never felt so much regret. Inside, i feel so empty.

I should be participating in the cosplay competition right now in cathay, but here i am at home. and i was so excited for today last week. I'm sorry, guilty and regretful.

This road is so difficult. my ego is certainly damaged in the midst of this wreckage. i have to thank my family and yui for their supoort. I'm sorry, but i've let you down. My lesson was learnt and my march holidays were a toture. remembering the untouched homework i have, i feel like i'm the world's worst person. and i suppose it is true. this experience has been horrible, and i wish not to go though this again.

Failure, has never tasted so bitter.

After much heated debate, i managed to get permission to join the cosplay competition. xD but now........ i have another worry: Will i manage to complete my costume in time??!!!! OAO seriously. i have like 95% more to go, and there's only 2 more days!!!!!!! *runs around screaming* wait, then why am i still here?... O.O okay so yea i'll get to the point. so far, i've only managed to complete the tie(lolwut). i still have the collar shirt, vest, skirt, shoes, beret, socks and headphones to complete... oh yea, i have to cut my wig..... so many things to do.... so little time.... and to make matters worse, i found out that my house does not have anymore purple thread anymore. DDDDD8 and purple is one of the 3 main colours i need. TAT looks like i will have to take 30mins to go out and buy..... I AIM TO COMPLETE MY BERET AND SHOES TODAY!!! oh gosh, i'm really in such a rush... what's more... i havent even started on my holiday homework yet..... OTL

i shall have a new posting format starting from this post! =D First, i shall put the title on the top, followed by a video and then a picture(can be non-cosplay or cosplay). This is to prevent boredom before reading my posts.(lolwut) xD i should be happy that i didnt wait till another month to post something again. so.. TERM 1 HAS ENDED YEA! \(^o^)/ but then we have so much hw to comeplete. =3= i havent gotten my PPR yet but i know that it aint gonna be funny when i see it. OAO i guess i'll try harder to study and not be such a lazy ass sitting around eating Pocky..... T^T but hey, breadsticks dipped in chocolate/strawberry/milk is so irresisitable..... =w= crap i'm hungry now. OAO
Before i rush off to tuition, i'll try to type as fast as i can. First off, i'm so disappointed about my wigs not arriving in time.... T^T it's supposed to arrive on 13th march, but then it got delayed till 20th-21st march. oh well, i should have expected this kind of stuff to happen, since i've heard so many cases in which shipment being late..... =.= there goes my Toeto cosplay for the 20th March event..... =3= however, i shall make some changes to my plans: i shall be cos-ing ___________ on 20th March!!! xDDDD have fun trying to guess who he/she is. =P oh yea, i wanna join the competition too.... but also, i have to ask permission from my mom to cos. >.<>and also a HJJ too >=3

7 MORE DAYS TO SOY'B'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and i have massive eye bags now. D= and, my eyes arent symetrical!!! >=O they arent even the least bit similar!!! well it was still okay, until two days ago. i kept rubbing my eyes cause i was tired, and then bam! one eye is off from the other. DX plus soy is in a week... i'm worried about how i will put on make up and how effingly screwed it look. DDDDDD= *prays hard* and i hope miaw's and yuanle's costume will come in time.(like a day before soy??!!!) and hope no trouble with the wig~~~ on soy, we plan to go there early to camp then attack the booths once they open. >=3 i'm really looking forward to soy, cause it's gonna be my debut at an event!!! *rubs eyes violently*

3 weeks of school has passed..... slowly getting used to sch life again, but i want my carefree december holidays back. =3= sec2 is really more tough then the honeymoon sec1 year...i wanna go back to 1 faith09..... TAT everyone is there~~~ and the crazy homies are all there too~~~~ guess we never treasure the present until we lost it eh?.... T^T hope that 2 Diligence10 will be as fun~ everyone is so stress in there, probably cause it's streaming year. and i aint the type who does well under stress!!! DDDDDX wait a minute, i dont even like studying in the first place...... who does, really? unless it's studying about [s]yaoi[/s] other stuff....

How cosplay has affected me in 2009

Cosplay has affected me really really really alot. in many ways. first, i start to notice how everyday ppl dress. this behavior is brought on by my need to sew costumes. i will examine their clothes, try to figure out how it's done, and try to guess the price. an interesting way of killing time on the MRT.
Next, due to my need of guys pants for tsuna, i start looking at men's pants. HJJ-ish? yes i know. OTL i have to see how pants look like on males... so i would know which kind of pants i should get. and i made an ~~disturbing~~ observation: ~~few guys have very nice legs. hurhur.~~
Third(which is what i'm currently suffering from), i look at every single woman's face to examine their eye make-up. why? ever since the discovery that awesome cosplayers put on awesome make-up, i realised that i need to put make-up too. make-up at the age of 13? ppl will slap me and scream "Vain". but... oh well i aint blessed with natural, beautiful eyes. and thus we unfortunate ppl with puny eyes discovered make-up to hide our own flaws. and trust me, CORRECT make-up really enhances your features. ~~i'm not promoting make-up to minors! hurhur.~~ i mean, have you seen tsuna's eyes?!!! proportionately, they're supposed to be around three inches big!!! the solution!(for me): double eyelid sticker and eyeliner. it makes my eyes look bigger. just be careful not to make tsuna look too girly, he is a guy afterall. a shota at that. BUT!!! i'm going to cosplay Amulet Spade from shugo chara soon, and a girl's make-up is totally different from a guy.(plus it's more complicated.) i've come to a conclusion on what i need for amulet spade: double eyelid sticker, black and white eyeliner, white, blue(and maybe brown and black?) eyeshadow and fake lashes. BUT! THE PROBLEM: i dont know how to go about putting on everything together. especially the white eyeliner and eyeshadows. and thus, explains my weird habit of examining ppl's eye make-up. the process is taking me to different places. in the end i've decided: DONT LOOK AT EVERYDAY PPL'S MAKE-UP. LOOK AT PRO COSPLAYERS' ONES INSTEAD. dont get offended, it's just that everyday ppl's make-up doesnt work for cosplay. hmm, maybe it's just us s'poreans. XD
Things to get: white eyeliner, falsies, eyeshadow and brown contacts. i'll maybe throw in mascara and eyebrow pencil if i decide to.(shall study more first) looking at the list, all i cant say is: If you cosplay, save money constantly.

During 2010, let's see what other weird behaviours/habits shall cosplay give me. ^.~

another year has come and gone.................. oh how much of my sch life i have screwed up..... for a first, my CIP hours are zero count. T.T i actually did 6 hours but i forgot to hand in the form. *slaps self* and my CCA points..... my god how little they are.... oh ho ho my academic performance wasnt awesome too......... OTL i know i should work hard........... but it's just that they arent interesting or fun to work on.... that's why no drive there..... Sec 2 is here... and i'm Diligence. and i dont know how to write "qin" in chinese. i'm a total failure. *stabs self* dont even mention my mum's quota of "10 books this holiday". in short, my brain totally rusted to junk within this two weeks. whoever is my teacher shall suffer my horrible handwriting............. hmm.. i'm being very pessimistic here. fine. new school grounds, new class, new classmates. i wonder how will sch life this year turn out? TOPIC CHANGE. in the next post.

ahaha. 3 weeks of MIA-ing.................... *slaps self for being too lazy* in this 3 weeks.... i feel like i've accomplished alot.... (no it's not me completing my hw). in the forms of cosplaying..... yes now everything i do has smth related to anime..... OTL yesterday i had aprivate photoshoot with yuan le as hibari at bugis. miaw and en le was gracious enough to be the awesome saikangs for the day!!! and thanks en le for the awesome camera. >=3 *glomps them both*

Mid november was when i first started cosplaying. (sawada tsunayoshi is my first ever character!!!!) overall, it was BAD. my wig wasnt right... OTL then, the second photoshoot was on 15 dec. within the week i tried to fix my wig as much as possible, spending $20 on Gatsby products, $5 for hair stylng sissors, and hours and hours of cutting and styling the damn wig. but, i guess that's the price you pay for cosplaying. you can compare my cosplaying "journey"...........

sigh... cosplayers have to know a lot of skills... you have to sew clothes, style your hair, make your props and make up. that is, unless you are rich enough to pay someone to do it for you.... and you need a photographer with a pro camera. T.T guess i still have a long way to go before becoming pro.....

looking back, i've taken the first few steps into the cosplay scene sooner than i had anticipated. i actually planned to do Amu(amulet spade) for Cosfest 2010, and NOT getting the wig. i didnt realise that it is an insult to cosplayers. OTL so, please respect cosplayers for actually spending the TIME, MONEY and EFFORT to dress up in costumes to show their passion for that particular anime or manga. COSPLAYERS DONT COSPLAY TO ATTRACT ATTENTION. they find other cosplayers and go as a group!!! see?.... a clear example of "the more the merrier". WE HAVE FUN COSPLAYING. AND YOU SHOULD TOO. XD

I'll never ever ever ever forget today i tell you!!!!!!!!!!!! Today was AFA09!!!!!!!!!!!!! my first anime convention i've ever been to in my entire life!!! IT WAS JUST AWESOME. I LOVE THE COSPLAYS MAN. I love it so much that we actually STALKED them........ until we get a picture of them doing their pose. At first we were like so scared to ask them to pose for us........ but it was WORTH IT. The people are so nice!!!!!!!! they never reject us lor!!!! somemore they're so into character!!! I'm so grateful to them........ *kira kira eyes* i respect their bravery of going into public in un-normal clothes and actually posing for the cameras!!!! They're so....... so brave!!!! *kira kira eyes* i love cosplay and cosplayers!!! basically, I LOVE ANIME. let the photos speak for themselves!!!

i'm such a hardcore KHR fangirl...... even though i do not own a true blue otaku's room, i am still crazy over KHR...... i have completed 2/3 of the Trinisette!!!! i have the seven Vongola rings and the seven arcobaleno pacifiers(but they're small)!! now all i need is the set of Mare rings, then i'll be the most powerful person in the entire world!!! i also want the Hell rings.......... so many rings... so little fingers..... I'm so in love with my arcobaleno bracelet/neclace...... XD

I had to search everywhere, high and low, north and south, before i found this priceless treasure..... haha! i also got a big, red one!! the red pacifier belongs to Fong!

And now..... to my tsuna cosplay!!! i made his mittens!!!

i cried in joy when finished it!(yes, it's the pride and joy of a fangirl). and, i'm still working on tsuna's x gloves.... they are the old version though... not the V.V.R one.... that one is too hard to make..... but i'll try to do it in the future.....

i've been super lazy for the past weeks....... and i'm very unmotivated to keep updating my blog........................ i'm going to shut it down...... nah. i'll just update whenever i feel like it, so it's fine if no ones reads it, as long as i have a space to type rubbish. OKAY. REVIVAL.
hmm.... oh yea, last fri was the auditions for the EOY09 performance thingy, and me and miaw participated in it. we only had about 1 week to come up with smth.... so everything was kinda rushed and all..... we wanted to do two songs, suberidai and taiyo ga niau yo, but in the end we had no time and we just did suberidai. for the entire first week of the hols, we both we going to each other house to come up with some dance moves and well, practise. the end product was well.... acceptable.... and on Fri we went to the National Library for the auditions. MY GOSH IT WAS SO FRIGGIN' COLD. luckily i brought along a jacket. poor miaw had to endure the cold. we dressed up really really nice and ppl were staring...... o.o it was kinda awkward and scary and intimidating...... wanna see our "costumes"??? we dressed it really really nicely cause they said wear what you would wear if you were gonna perform. Here:

Fine..... it wasnt really a good photo cause there was no one to take it for us.... (we were all alone in a huge dressing room). and since they didnt really give us much time to prepare, we only took like what? 4 photos..... and all of them were not "HD"............ so yea. we were friggin' scared when we were performing for the judges.... we're like in a black, square room with no windows.... our performance.... was..... crappy.......... T^T i accidentally hit my hat while dancing and had to adjust back cause it was loping on my head. and i messed up BAD at the rapping part. I CANT SPEAK JAPANESE IN THE FIRST PLACE. we're so screwed........... it'll be a miracle if we got through....... T^T awwww but please, let us dress up this nice again.... I BEG YOU. CAUSE IF WE WALKED ON THE STREETS LIKE THAT WE'LL BE STARED AT. IT'S TOO COSTUME-Y AND CONCERT-Y. DX
and after the audition, we went to iluma. i went there mainly for Otaku House and Comic Connection. my main goal: to get the VONGOLA RINGS!!! and i found it!!! they come in a full set at comics connection for about $28. and i think otaku house sells them SEPERATELY at $9 each. i got the full set. i also got a millefiore kerchain. and a poster! i had to beg my father to lend me money first to buy it... and when i got home i had to pay him back.... this addiction to khr will lead me to bankruptcy(sp?). i even want the two psp games!!! they cost like a BOMB. they dont sell it in singapore(i think) and went to check on ebay. the first game costs $40 and the lastest game costs $60. man i so want them........... i cant wait to play as tsuna!!! and everyone else!!! including Lal!!! and TYL!Lambo!!! it's so COOL. but still, i guess i should be happy that i finally got the vongola rings. i am one more step closer to cosplaying Tsuna!!! I was SCAMMED!!! and i really wanna cry! T^T i wanted to get black boots, but the stupid shoplady told me brown boots look nicer than black and it can match everything(including Lolita( SO NOT!)), so i went and bought it!!! and when i went home and tried it on with my clothes(most of them are black and white), it looked totally weird!!! and i went online to like see for advice, and ppl said black is better if you set is not normally monochromatic!!!!! my parents also say that black is WAAAAY better then brown ones I wanna change but i doubt she'll allow me!!!! i cried. throughout the whole 2 last episodes of fruits basket. i never thought that it was so darn nice. and MEANINGFUL. i gave up halfway at first(which was a big mistake), then i decided to continue. i was really really really touched, moved and sad. to people who hate anime, BEHOLD THE POWER OF ANIME/MANGA!!!!! I’m am SO into Lolita fashion. OH SO VERY MUCH. I’ve been buying everything Lolita(the ones I CAN afford) for like, the past two months??? Oh I remember how I got hooked on Lolita. SOMEWHERE in April(this year), I saw a newspaper article(I think in the Newpaper) talking about Lolita fashion. The journalist went to shop called Black Alice and there were pictures of many Lolitas!!!! I fell in love with those kind of clothing at first sight. Then, I went online to search more about Lolita fashion and WOW I was even more amazed! From then on I’ve been buying things my sister says that it’s “weird” in a good way!!! I should stop reading newspaper. Who knows what other obsession I might pick up reading another article. Speaking of Lolita….. this is kind of hilarious really..... i have like two tests on Monday, and i said that i would revise for it, but still zero progress. There is this Chinese Cinderella test, but i didnt even read the book yet..... the last i read it, it was like last year.... so yeah, i'm doomed. now, it looks like i have a new hobby! "K-On dai suki!!!" Yui's last words in the Finale of K-On. It's so sad that it has only 12 parts.... well there is an extra, so it'll be 13 offically next week. Two weeks have passed so fast. i havent even started doing homework.... Halfway through the hols and my allowance is almost gone. but my tremendous pile of hw still stands strong and untouched. i should really really really make myself DO some at least, but apparently determination isnt mentioned in my horoscope. only dreaming is mentioned. i can dream myself doing, but what good would it do? i am really hopeless. HOPELESS. actually more of WEAK-WILLED. want another example? i couldnt even get myself to do excercise. and not spend a lotta money on useless decorative items....."MY WALLET IS CLOSED. I DO NOT WANT TO SHOP." from Confessions of a Shopaholic. i just had to quote that. ^.^ still, i looking forward to thursday coz we're going to have lucnch with our dearest P6 teacher!
i also didnt catch up on a lot of anime coz i'm not allowed to use my laptop. So SAD. and the WORST part is that Kirarin has 153 episodes, and i'm still stuck at the 21st. i'm not slow because it is really really really really hard to find the episodes...... it's been like 3 years since it's first episode and it is heavily LICENCED. K-ON! there's only like 11 episodes now but i think i'll be able to catch up. i guess. it talks about 4 year 1 high school girls. they "revived" the light music club, basically a band. apparently, total klutz Yui thought that all she had to do was to play the casenets, but in the end the other members found out that she was actually talented in playing the guitar..... dont expect me to tell the whole story, i havent even watched it finished yet myself. the opening and ending songs are totally nice. if you are not interested in watching, then listen to the songs at least.

YAY. Holidays are finally here! BUT! i wanted my holidays to be free and i can stay at home the whole time.... but as each day passes, my holiday is beginning to become more packed. NOOOO. I want REST while i still can...... and i do not fancy going out the whole time.... it's a waste of money because i dont get much allowance every month!!! Grrrr... and i cant imagine how even MORE hectic term 3 and 4 will be...... T.T and in a blink of an eye, the holidays will be OVER. GONE. POOF. JUST LIKE THAT. AND I HAVENT EVEN TOUCHED MY HOMEWORK. this happens EVERY time to me..... the last day of holiday i have to stay up very late to rush hw.... i tried changing this habit of mine, but i have a weak will. DETERMINATION isnt mentioned in my horoscope apparrently..... i'm annoyed by the grey colour background. I have to use "specific" colour for the fonts.... I'll change it.... either to white or black.

GOOD: there's CCA, it's the last day of term 2, technically we have no class(Enrichment course thingy) and... there's no morning jog. BAD: we get our PPR results back and we dont get to wear PE uniform for the day. Booo........ T.T I'm expecting to see deprovement, judging by how i always last minute study..... so yeah. i think everyone ISN'T looking forward to our "Paper of perpetual doom".... once the holidays are officially here, i am SO gonna "chiong" anime!!!! I LOVE the person who invented swivel chairs. Why? My legs are numb and i cant walk in a straight line. Why? Because of the stupid NAPFA today. The 2.4km run to be exact. Last time we had to run 1.6km.... i thought that is enough to kill me, but its look like a piece cake, compared to 2.4.... -.- At the end of the run, i still remember that i could barely breathe. My legs were like jelly, i couldnt think, and the world kept spinning. what a nightmare. SCARY. That's why i hate "physically demanding activities". In the end i got a D(I took 17min plus or so). Today’s CT was Geog. It was… Okay I guess… Other than the fact that there was this question that was 5 marks and I wrote very little… Oh, I wrote ‘Mt Rainier’ as ‘Mt Painier’… That was stupid of me… And after recess was… Drama. Today our poem thingy had to be presented and graded. Some people’s one was funny. Like Jessie’s “Ooo.. Look, a butterfly!” and Shi Hui’s “I feel old wounds reopen!” and she began to tear her “bandage”(toilet roll with PINK[supposed to be blood] ink). Oh the humor! XD
I hate next week. MONDAY, especially. There is IPW presentation, some poem essay test, and ACC! I fear ACC the MOST. I sleep during that lesson. Or stare into space. I’m sooo gonna have to drill this weekend… The poem essay thing I’m sure I’ll do badly coz I always do badly for essays. I go out of point, I don’t elaborate, and I don’t show evidence the right way. How worse can I be? At least I know how to write I guess… -.-“ OH. And that stupid IPW thing that changed dates so many times. I really really really really really wanna be the best group!!! Why? There’s this “prize” Miss Chan promised. And, it is ICE-CREAM. MOVENPICK ICE-CREAM. I never did try it before, but I think it’s nice… it’s ICE-CREAM. Ice-cream never let me down before. Today, it was umm... rather less choatic... but still, it was rather rush. Morning there's the detestable morning jog... Because of the swine flu warning has dropped to yellow, there's no need to conduct temperature taking exercises twice daily anymore. We still have to bring out thremometers everyday though. Luckily, the D&T deadline was shifted to next week. Because we had so much to do, we brought home the stuff that we could do withou going to the workshop. Oh, and there was this "design" that I did for the clear acrylic engraving. Only ppl who want to make a cute light-up device had to do it. I drew umm... three pics.... the first one was my fav! It is an older brother holding his little brother's hand and walking in the snow, leaving a trail of footprints behind. then at the side, there is a word "dong"(winter) at the bottom-most right. and... Mr Sam said it was too plain.... T.T Have to make it more "complex" and bigger then... T.T While goofing off in the workshop, Vera lent me her "product" to play. It looks easy, but it is SO NOT. AND IT IS SURPRISINGLY ADDICTIVE. Kylie also became an addict! XD You have to make the two marbles go into any two holes. Ppl who are done with their product are so lucky.... they are like so "kong xian" now.... T.T After D&T we had to rush to Assembly(like always.) There was this Ocatorial(sp?) Speech Comptetion. Inter-class of course. There was this girl whom i liked the best(so do other ppl). She was talking about her dream in 10 years time. She said she wanted to open a pastry shop!!! The way she delivers the speech was SO COOL! So cute too!!!! I wanted to get on stage and hug her!!! XD After school miaw, kar yee and me went to library to "discuss" about the IPW. Most of the time we were laughing really. Kar Yee showed us this video about this boy hitting his com screen because something scary was on it. We joked around and imated the boy whacking the com screen. We sure did made a lotta noise in the LIBRARY. >.<> OH MY MUM. I FOROT TO MEMORISE THE SCRIPT!!!! DX *hurriedly takes out flimsy paper, begins memorising* Then yay! It was Art Club!!!!! Our group is supposed to do the club banner, but since the materials arent ready yet... we had to do some mini posters advertising Art Club. After i drew the sketch(it took me a long time), i decide to stipple it some parts here and there, since the theme was "everything begins with a dot".... I was petrified doing it, really. Coz it was like, my FIRST time doing stippling with something that you couldnt erase!!! The thumb turned out okay... MISS LIN EVEN SAID IT WAS GOOD!!! I was totally over the moon at that point. Stippling, is very time consuming. Each finger took about 10 mins to stipple... in the end i only managed to stipple three(hopeless...). My senior, SOPHIA, is SOOOO GOOD at stippling!!! She stippled this drawing of a St Nick's girl in PE and awed EVERYONE. SEE HOW PRO SHE IS???.... Good luck for IPW presentation, the rest of the class!!!

Went to the dentist yesterday to tighten my braces. As Sharlene requested, i change it to ORANGE. Quite nice really. Actually, ALL the colours are so nice that I think i will have problems choosing in times to come..... I chose red the first time... now it's orange.... next, what shall it be? I'll try pink or purple, i guess.
Today, Miss Chan unfortunately told us that we had to bring forward our IPW presentation to this Friday. I was like "OMG!!! We've not even finished it yet!!!" Actually, we were to get EVERYTHING ready like last week?..... So we had to rush to complete. The only thing that we havent prefected yet was the talking part and the skit. The rest or more or less done. OMG. I just realised another thing. D&T IS DUE TMRRW!!! AHHH!!! *runs around in circles* Me and Ash are umm.... halfway done... Went to do CIP at Tampines Regional Library from 5pm to 8pm. Thought that it might be fun, so went and signed up. My job was to collect used books that are in good condition from ppl who come to donate, giving them coupons for books in return. It was my first time doing CIP at a library, so yeah, I was a little bit shy and scared. It seemed natural to me later on as I became "more familiar with my job". There were lotta enquires about the whole movement, and my throat soon became dry. But still, there were ppl who came and donated some books. In very good condition too. Overall, it was very fun to be doing CIP at the library. Yay I even made a friend there! She was doing shift at the e-koisk, to teach ppl how to use it. She said that she came every friday, coz her school required them to do CIP. So yeah. I'll be doing this again in the same place, same time and same day next week(24/04). Minna-san, come and donate your used and still-in-good-condition books, no?!!!! PLUS, you get another used but still in good condition book in exchange!!! But pls go to the National Library Building on 25th April to exchange the coupons!!
After my shift had ended, I went to borrow books. I chose two ENGLISH books from the "Teenage Fiction Section" as I LOVE stories and not just those information books. They are "The Swan Maiden" by Heather Tomlinoon and "Your Eyes in Stars" by M.E. Kerr. Read finished "Your Eyes in Stars" today(a Sat). Sit in one sitting for like 6 hours. I could have never believed I could do that. The only other times I could do that with a book was when I was reading three "Artemis Fowl" stories(by Eoin Colfer). Interesting plots really. Well, to me that is. I guess maybe anxiety and curiosty made me do that "finish-a-book-in-one-sitting" feat. That what I love about books. Writers have this gift to entice readers. Because of this, I was even drawn to writing, and sometimes aspire to become a writer. Maybe someday, I'll will become one.

Umm.... It was Thurs. I'll be skipping straight to assembly. This week's assembly was well, more packed then the previous ones. We had outside ppl coming to our school too btw. Basically the entire assembly was focus on Sports Events. I was well, indifferent at first coz like, I not really "active" in the area of sports so yeah.... But in the end I was so hyped up with Miaw. The teachers and the outside ppl really really really made it look so interesting!!! So first, there was this YOG(Youth Olympic Games). It will be held in 2010. When? I think in August. I and SOOOOOOO hope our school sports girls will be representing S'pore!!! I mean like, then we can all get excited and be even more proud of our glorious school!!!! PLUS, our school won lotta competitions this year!!! Umm... for example, the hockey girls were the champions!!! The band ppl got GOLD WITH HONOURS. THAT IS SOOOOOO DARN COOL, NO???!!!! There are other ppl winning other competitions too. This is good, and bad. Why bad? There is like a HUGE amount of pressure for the other ppl who will be soon goiing to participate in the other competitions. What's more, I feel so hopeless. I can never win an award for Art club, seeing how un-artistic I am..... T^T Oh yeah, you know, our twinning country was the Philipines, so there was this boys' school that came for a exchange program some time ago. The 2D girls were their "host". If you really read the news(not the sports section, movie showtimes, etc), you may have seen an article about this whole thing. Apparently, the teacher said that bcoz we were the first schools to have an exchange program for the YOG, there was lotta press coverage for it. ANYWAYS, next up was the AYG(Asian Youth Games). It is fast approaching!!! Like what? TWO more months??!!! Oh and was bcoz of this thing the outside ppl came to our school to talk about it. Apparently, they told us a lotta facts about the upcoming AYG. There 45 countries participating!!! After their talk, it was the matter about this year's "Sports day". It is to be "linked" with National Day. I had never really experienced a St Nick's Sports Day once, so I'm really looking forward to it. She said that since it's gonna be the last Sports Day held in the current school(we're moving coz of PRIME, and we're coming back 2years ltr), it HAS to go off with a BIG BANG!!! So yeah, exciting, no? BUT, the problem is, I dont know my house yet. So do the rest of the Sec1s I think. But I'm sure we'll know soon. Afterall, our first official House meeting is coming up this month.
AFTER SCHOOL. There was this AYG booth near Ave 2, so Miaw, Faith and I went to check it out. They were giving out free 100plus drinks and there was this thing where you try to shoot a mark to win a freebie. We tried 3times; I won 2 wristbands, Miaw won 3, Faith DIDNT even try once!!! RAWR. So Miaw and I were "threatening" her. Then we went to sign on a board which is to send the players our well wishes. I wrote my copyrighted, famous in my circle of ppl, trademark well wish:"Gl Gl(Good Luck, but usually i say 'Go Les'), Gg Gg(Go Gay), Gambatte, ne?" After all that, I asked them to take a pic by the fir trees. It turned out sooooo NICE and AWESOME!!! But.... They warned me:"You'd better not put it in your blog hor...." So yeah.... What a pity. Later, we three went to get rackets and a shuttlecock from sch and played Badminton. At around 3plus, we stopped coz Faith and I had to go to our respective CCAs soon. Umm... Hey ppl. I know that it's late, but still.... The main point for Tues was, well, the CIP trip to a Home. "Fun?" No. It is not "for fun". It is 100% serious and dont joke about it. Going to a home to do PROPER CIP isn't child's play or easy as ABC. You have to be careful to not hurt their feelings or talk about their children. So in short, pls be sensitive when talking with anyone in the Home. If you dont know what a Home is, it is a place where the elderly who were abandonned by their children or were homeless, wind up. They didn't ask for this, okay, so dont mock them or despise them or anything like that. Oh, in my point of view, DON'T show pity, show compassion or love instead. Coz, I will NEVER EVER wanna be pited. It's like, so demoralizing to me. But, that my opinion. Dont scold me or anything.... -.- Anyways, we stayed there for an hour plus. We were told to converse with the elderly there, and make them feel happier. I talked to this guy for the whole time. He was not grumpy or anything, so we talked alot. I THINK we made him a little happier.... When we were about to go back, we gathered back in a room. The man, who I THINK is in charge of the Home, told us some REAL, LIFE STORIES. It's not the bedtime stories who ends happily... It's very shocking stories. It was smth like this: There was this guy, who was in a very good school last time. He studied very hard, and thus got a very well-paid job. He wroked and worked very hard for his enire adult life, making lots of money. In the process, he neglected his family. When he became old, he had some "complications". He was then sent to the Home. When the man found out that he had two siblings, he tried to call them and asked them to take care of him. And, they gave the MOST SHOCKING reply:"Why? Last time when he made a lot of money, he didnt take care of us. Now, why should we take care of him? We shall leave him in your hands." Shocking? It was to me. Can you believe it? Moral of the story: Family is important. So what if you got a well-paid job? It cant be secured forever. Also: Look after your parents when they become old or very sick. They didnt send you to the orphanage, no? Remember that even YOUR children can do that to you. So pls set a good example.

I LOVE YOU CLUB!!!!!! This is a club which I, Faith, Ruyi and Miaw created during this Wednesday's Math lesson.... How did it start? When me and Miaw were talking about Shugo Chara fan clubs... I think she said that she was in the Chara Nari fan club(a lie, of course). then i said that I was in the I love you club(A lie at that time, of course). So yeah... after 10 mins, I turned back and said to Faith:"You! Are now the Vice-president of the I love you club!" Then Ruyi said that she wanted to join and be the Chairman. Then Maiw added that she wanted to be the Chairgirl. So yeah. A weird way to start an unofficial club. Later, we decided that our motto shall be "Minna Dai Suki"("I love everyone") and our purpose is to spread love through various sections. Not that "boy-girl/les/gay or whatever" kind of love. It is the friendship kind of love. ^.^ So yeah..... For the whole recess, we were trying to recruit people to join... Here's how the club works: Each member must have a role(nickname). She must also be in charge of a section. The person choses these two.
Umm..... We dont really have a full "Rules" list yet.... BUT! The first rule is: "Tell 10 ppl 'I love you' a day. And mean it too." So yeah.... 3 cheers for the I Love You Club!!!!! ^.^

Omg I so long never posted le. Busy mah. And lazy...DX So yeah.... YESTERDAY. Was Good Friday. Not a Chirstian or Catholic, so yeah I didnt go to a chruch to pray or anything. But I DID go to a chruch. Well, Coz my sis's dance group is in the finals for this "Evoke Your Dreams" competition. But before going there, we went to this prata stall and I order a paper prata ans a cup of milo dinosour(sp?). The paper prata was so freaking cool!!! And it was tasty too!!! But, it took me a long time to finish... I forgot to take a picture of it, so yeah.... T.T So, with my parents and bro, I went to this chruch in Hougang(sp?) to support her(and her team). There are 8 finalists in total, 5 bands and 3 dance groups. Their team was called "Groo-V". So for like umm... 3+ hours I was stuck in the cold cold cold cold cold cold auditorium. T.T It was cold cold cold cold cold cold!!!! PLUS, IT RAINED. That's why it was so cold. But luckily I didnt freeze to death. ^.^ The bands were like so COOOOOOL!!!! It made me feel talentless. T.T There was this girl drummer and she was totally AWESOME. You may think, "A girl playing the drums? Get real." BUT!!!! YOU HAVENT SEEN WHAT MAGIC SHE CAN DO ON THE DRUMS. I'm sooooo envious... *kira kira eyes* Oh, and there was this sec 1 guy... He was also AWESOME on the bass guitar.... He's even better than his much older band mate!!! AHHH I FEEL SO TALENTLESS(I am anyway). In the end, my sis's dance group got 2nd overall. The champion was umm this dance group called "Funky-3" which did some totally awesome breakdance moves. If I ever were to try to do break dance, I'll end up in the hospital with several broken bones. So yeah, I just realized the bitter truth: I am TALENTLESS. T.T After the competiton, there was this after party at the level-1 multi-purpose hall. People were selling mocktails, pizza, chips, and other snacks. I got a joy mocktail(the yellow colour one) and a slice of hawaiin pizza. It costs total $4 btw... After waiting for my sis, we went to this shop called "Tang tea house" at bedok for supper. Umm... I ate shrimp dumplings, mushroom soup, and a Iced Mocha. The ice mocha was sooooo cool. there was lotta whipped cream on top!!! WHEE!!! YAY!!! ^.^ At night.... I couldnt sleep... (but i managed to in the end)

My teeth, gums, and mouth and ACHING. Because of braces. I had it done on Monday(Yesterday). At first it was like, ok... but now I have trouble eating. and sometimes speaking. But the dentist says that this is normal and will last for probably 3 to 7 days. Apparrently, he says that it quite a fad these days to put braces(Should this comfort me???). People with straight teeth will come and ask to do braces. Weird, no? Anyways... I got the metal kind... and for the band colour I chose red. The nurses were like "Oh!" and he said that red is a popular colour, but uncommon for "first-timers" as they will choose te less bright colours. I still chose red in the end. So yeah, when I got back to school everyone was like "Smile!" or "Let me see!". Smiling..... kinda hurts to accomplish now.... T.T
Today for Art we had to draw a red chilli using blending and cross-hatching!!! OMG TING XIE IS 2 MORE DAYS AWAY AND I STILL HAVE NOT STUDIED. HELP. Oh, and there's a EL Comprehension test tmrrw... T.T I miss my carefree Primary days... But the seniors say that Sec 1 life is heaven for them now... So I'd better enjoy it while I still can!*tries to smile* *Ouch it hurts* T.T

I'll make this real quick. Yesterday was "Qing Ming Jie". I think. So yeah, today me and my family went to go pray to our ancestors. My other relatives too. Didnt have a pic of the whole thing. I didnt want to offend the spirits(haha?). So yeah, NO PICS. Came back... went tuition... came back... Desperately tried to focus on learning "ting xie"(CL spelling) that will be on Thurs(it's GRADED btw). This time, it wont be as easy as the past two times. There will be fill in the blanks, and we have to create sentences using the "Cheng Yu" they will give us. We are so pitiful. PLUS, I had always been bad at Chinese..... T.T OMG I am SO gonna flunk.... T.T OH YEAH. I'M GONNA PUT ON BRACES TMRRW. AND I HAVE TO SKIP SCHOOL. IT'S IMPORTANT, NOT FOR "PERSONAL BEAUTY". MINE IS A SPECIAL CASE, YOU KNOW. Why it is a "special case"? It's CLASSIFIED. ALL SPECIAL CASES ARE.

Fine... I know it's Sat, but... here's what I did yesterday!!! Hmm... Went to school, had a Lit mass lecture. And I recieved my passage-based test 3. It was HORRENDOUS!!! I did... well... kinda badly... HEY. I NEVER EXPECTED DAWAN TO BE THE QUESTION. So yeah, boo hoo. T.T After that was PE. It was a total horrific lesson. I learnt that I run the slowest in the class.... so I was like lagging WAAAAAAAY at the back.... T.T I hate 'Physically demanding activities okay? I said it in my profile... Afterthat was EL.... then our once-in-a-week 1-hr reccess!!!*Cheers* Umm... After a little bit of snacking, Me and Miaw played badminton. We arent pro at it btw... We borrowed the rackets from school and I brought along my feather shuttlecock from home!!! We played for like, 20min until Maan and Ner(2 of our PSLs) came to join us!!! And... I was late for Drama... again. We learnt about low, middle and high positions and still pictures this week. Mr Adrim will give us a situation(eg. a beach, a forest,...), and we have to make use of guestures, low/middle/high positions to portray an object according to the situation.(eg. a coconut tree for the beach, a rabbit for the forest,...). So yeah, we had to "stand still" until Mr Adrim gives us the green light to go back. Next was Math... Went to com lab and used Excel to try to create a chart. Whee!!! Had fun(Kinda). Then... MASS PE. After 30mins or so of physical torture for the unfit population, I was drenched in sweat. And I knocked my head into a low "ceiling"(the area under the staircase )... Ow... T.T After that, En Le(MIKI!!!) and I went to visit KHS(our primary school). Our main purpose was for Choir! Miaw cant go coz she had Hockey... So yeah... We met our other ex-choir mates before going in. We were happily sharing our experiences in our current school. Saw Choir. Was overjoyed!!! After their lesson, some of our closer mates from choir stayed back a little while to "hang" with us. One of them was STEVIE!!!!(That's the name me and Erika gave him) Umm... 1st of April!!! The day of pranks. My definition of April Fools??? It is a day to do pranks, be all crazy and get scolded purposely. It's the only one day in a year to do that!!! Our class,(DEAR 1 EFFFF!!!), did pranks that actually worked on our teachers!!! YAY WE ARE SO SMART AND DRAMA-PRO. We attempted to prank.... four teachers. They are our Chinese teacher, 1 Wisdom's(the neighbouring class) History teacher, our EL/Lit/form teacher and our co-form teacher!!! Here is the process!
CL and 1W's Hist Teacher:
*5 min before break ends* Students from both 1F and 1W were running between classrooms(We were switching classrooms). Was rushing here and there, trying to find a seat. Poor Becky had no seat and was walking up and down the classroom. Vera told her to just "hover around" until the teacher comes. I found that funny. Soon, he came!!! We greeted him. *no signs of realization* We were all trying hard to supress our laughter. He was like:"Okay class! I have a test for you today. Why are you all smiling? Cant wait for the Spring test?" He started to count the paper. We, relunctant to do the Hist test for the Wisdomers, shouted "HAPPY APRIL FOOLS!!!" and started running out of the class. Then he said:"Where are you all going?" OMG HAHA. PLAN SUCCEEDED!!! For our CL teacher... she claimed that she long knew.... T.T
Our EL/Lit/form teacher:
Before Miss Chan came in to the class, we all took out our Science stuff. Marilyn went to correction tape the time table and wrote "Science", in case she went to look at it. When she came in, we were all:"Miss Chan, now is Science!" Then she said:"Really? Goodness! Okay bye bye." and she walked out of the room.*no sign of realization* We exposed the trick and stopped her from going any further. Apparently, she was embarassed about it... ANOTHER SUCCESS!!
Our co-form teacher:
About 1.30(halfway through CME period), we started to pack up. She was confused, and Miss Chan told her that we were going for CIP(It's a lie, of course).*no sign of realization* When some of us already carried our bags, Miss Chan revealed it!!! She looked flustered and started "whacking" Miss Chan. SUCCESS!!!!!
So yeah, if it isnt funny to you, too bad. The real life experience was WAAAAAAAAY better. I was litterally laughing while typing these incidents. To Faithains, HADN'T IT BEEN A WONDERFUL APRIL FOOLS'????!!!!! XD The best 1st of April in my life ever. So far.....

Air-con changed to a new one yesterday. It was quiet. REAL quiet.... So quiet that it seemed out of place to me.... Afterall, I am used to the previous noisy one. Today Art teacher didnt come... T.T *drepressed*
Apparently there is someone called NATHANAEL TEO CI ENN spamming my tagboard. he puts his name as "anonymous". AND HE INSULTED CARNY/FLOWER(CARNATION)!!!!!!! Heaven yes Carnation is a name. He has no imagination(HA!!! >=P).

Why I want to talk about last's week drama lesson? Coz I AM THE DRAMA REP!!!! MUAFWUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! SUFFER UNDER MY DRAMATIC WRATH!!!!!!!!! (okay fine, so maybe Yuan Le is also a rep too, but I AM THE FIRST AND IN CHARGE OF REG. 1-19!!!!) So story time!!!(This story is only about my side(Mr Adrim/Wong) one, of course!) It all started with me and Miaw being late. First, we went to MPR1 , but then wrong room. It was meet-the-parents for sec 3s and 4s I think. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a guy "laughing"(secrectly) at us outside MPR1. T.T Then we went to MPR2. YAY CORRECT ROOM! We met Becky outside too. Lucky for us, Mr Adrim didn't scold us. ^^ After giving us an intro, we started an acticity where we have to walk around the room at a certain pace, while mantaining an equal "gap" between each other. After doing that for sometime, we started on another activity. We formed a circle, and one person is out of the circle, and she has to call the name of a person in the circle. That person will step out and the caller can take his place. This goes on. After a while, Mr Adrim increased the number of ppl out of the circle to 4. IT WAS MESSY. TOTAL HEADACHE. but we still managed to pull it off. (Oh yea, and NO one called Mr Adrim's name, so he was "angry".) Then I "accidentally" said that he was repulsive(kidding, of course)... He said:"DRAMA REP...." Me:"I WAS ACTING!!!" "Acting???... F9 FOR THE WHOLE YEAR!!!" "T.T" *NEXT GAME!* Mr Adrim chose me to be the volunteer... "T.T" Intructions: the killer will point her "hand pistol" to an person and say out that person's name. If the "target" is too slow to duck, she will get killed. If she ducks, the ppl beside her can shoot each other. If both say the name at the same time, both will die. I died when Mr Adrim was explaining the game. How retarded I am... T.T THE REAL GAME! I started the first. Killed two ppl before someone ducked my bullet. I noticed that when the "target" ducks, the two ppl beside will usually say "BANG!" and not the person's name at first try. That happened to me and Jess too. Wei Li(I think) ducked and then me and Jess were like "BANG!" *Everyone laughes* Afterthat we said each other's name. I also added a "BAZOOKA BOMB!", "GRENADE!" and "KNIFE STAB!" but, Jess killed me first. X.X then bell rang. Boo hoo. And Drama lesson was so fun!!! =D

Monday. First lesson was ACC(Apreciation for Chinese Culture). The class was zombie-like and SOME ppl slept... (like the ONE behind me). The teacher was like(in chinese) "I know that some ppl are sleeping in my class... Hello, it is the FIRST lesson of the entire week! What exactly do you guys do over the weekends?" *dead silence from the class(mostly coz they weren't fully awake???)* So yeah, done with ACC. HCL. Bad news given... Ting xie next thurs and the format of it is like super difficult... and, there's CL file checking tmrrw. *Drama music plays* History was... ok... Well, I had fun... O.O *BREAK!!!* Now for Lit! YAY we learnt about different kinds of poems. With our partners, we have to create any kind of poem about school. and miss chan was like: "NO writing about teachers ah!!!" Me and Ruyi did a Acrostic poem with the word "PPR"(Pupil's Progress Report). We finished it in a flash!!! Here it goes:

After we finished, me and Ruyi were busy "decorating" the paper. I kept saying "USAGI". Thus, I wrote a song!!!: "Neko, neko, USAGI ramen. Neko-mi, USAGI, baka inu mee. Negi, negi ramen oishi! Baka inu muu-ri. Neko-mi, USAGI, KAKO-II!!!" haha. That was a pointless song... -.-" then it was Science... then PW... then school's over. Me, Hui Xuan and Michelle went straight to MOELC... went to the library. Read manga. 4.30, Hui Xuan and Michelle went to their Malay class, and I went to my arabic class! That's all for the day...

Yo ho!!!~~~ Minna-san!!! As you can clearly see, I'm addicted to japanese anime and manga..... And I suck at this blog stuff..... The proof is right HERE in this "template" of the blog. Heck, I cant seem to change it.... they always say "smth smth... not in the right format.. blah blah..." So yeah, I have no inkling to how to change blog skin and thus have to use the already done layout. Sadly, I wanted to change it to a nice skin.... BUT... I CANT SEEM TO DO IT RIGHT. RAWR.
